Carnival 2026: Siren Song

Designing for Mardi Gras each year is my favorite exercise in excess - the perfect excuse to go as big, bold, bright, and kinetic as I want. How lucky am we, as New Orleanians, to have an entire season that celebrates the over-the-top, the dramatic, the fabulous?

This entire collection is uber-lightweight (perfect for dancing and long parade marathons) and distinctly Mardi Gras without being predictable. Whether you’re dancing at a parade, dressed up for a ball, or adding a splash of Mardi Gras to your workplace, this collection is here to bring pizazz to your carnival season!

The SIREN SONG earrings frame the face with stylized scalloped shells, with inlaid beads dangling below.

All my jewelry begins with pen and paper — I think of these earrings as wearable drawings. Asymmetry and an uneven line reminds the wearer that they were made by human hand.

Acrylic earrings featuring hypo-allergenic Titanium post backs. Large but lightweight, with lots of impact.

A- BLUE: green-blue colorshift acrylic, orange paint, deep blue faux pearl, silver/blue/lime beads

B- SILVER- black glitter acrylic, silver paint, deep purple faux pearl, silver /white/light purple beads

CARE:

Clean when needed with a microfiber cloth. Be gentle! Although acrylic is durable, it is not indestructible. Please be especially careful with small and delicate designs. Avoid perfume and sprays as it may damage the surface of the acrylic. If your design includes painted areas, avoid water. Most importantly: wear with joy!
