IRIS: Double Drop

Celebrate our beautiful Louisiana landscape with this collection of native (or long-ago adopted) plants.

The Iris giganticaerulea earrings feature etching, inlay, and hand-painted sections to achieve this detailed look. (They are heavier than my usual featherlight designs, so if you’re sensitive, I recommend using Lobe Wonders). All my jewelry begins with pen and paper — I think of these earrings as wearable drawings. Asymmetry and an uneven line reminds the wearer that they were made by human hand.

These acrylic earrings feature hypo-allergenic Titanium post backs.

CARE:

Clean when needed with a microfiber cloth. Be gentle! Although acrylic is durable, it is not indestructible. Please be especially careful with small and delicate designs. Avoid perfume and sprays as it may damage the surface of the acrylic. If your design includes painted areas, avoid water. Most importantly: wear with joy!
